Hi. Im planning on restoring my dad's original Rough Rider for him. It is complete with the exception of the front bumper and rear cage, so i plan to get them from the new Buggy Champ My question is with regards to the aluminium parts, they are very dull and a bit corroded in places, what would you recommend for cleaning them up? |

The wise one answers:
I have heard of them being put in a dishwasher but I can't personally recommend that as Mrs Skid would never allow that! I normally degrease them, spray with primer and paint with a nice enamel silver hobby spray paint. This is hard wearing and looks great and should never dull with age. If you treat all your metal parts like this they will look like new. |
