Question: Could you expain why some motors are marked with T and some others with KV?For examle i find 55T motors and others 1100KV. Thank you.

The wise one answers:

Yessh a good question that is! Both are measurements of potency. A brushed motor is measured in turns. The lower the turns then the faster it will spin for a given input voltage. Also the lower the torque though so normally some gearing down is needed.

Brushless motors are rated in kv. This is the RPM for an input voltage. A brushless motor of 1100kv on an 11.1v Lipo battery would spin at 1100 x 11.1 = 12,210 rpm. You can see that the higher the kv rating, the faster the motor would be.
