hi skid.
is the entire frog gearbox interchangeable w/the wild one? i want to use the metal "plates" from the sides of the frog gearbox...can i screw tem onto the wild one box or can i just use the frogs' entire box? |

The wise one answers:
No young man i don't believe they are compatible, where did you get that idea? The Wild One plastic casing is quite different in shape to the Wild One and i doubt the Frog box would sit very well inside the Wild One rear cage. The do share some of the internals though including the diff and of course the drive-shafts but that's about it. In truth neither gearbox is very good, both suffer from flex which opens up the diff spacing and causes slippage. |
