Hi Professor-
Tell me, what is your opinion about the Midnight Pumpkin? Is it worth the money? And does it live up to it's standards? I'm thinking about buying one and turning it into a rat rod. I see a lot of guys do this. I want mine to be original. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks Professor and have a great day! |

Well it's a nice looking body indeed. To me it's a little wrong sitting on that chassis and i think the Lunchbox is a much better looking model but the F100 shell in isolation is pretty good. One downside is the 1/12 scale which makes it a little harder to find an alternative chassis but it makes a good body for something custom. For the rat rod look i'd fancy matt black with some rust painted on. Maybe undercoat it in a rusty colour and then sand through the top colour in places. Perhaps paint some panels another colour to make it looks really tatty etc. Checkout our gallery for some rat rod/wreck Pumkin shots. |
