The wise one answers:
It's a problem for sure! Sometimes applying heat with a hairdryer can soften and re-activate the glue, it also softens the decal which can give you chance to smooth it down over the curve or corner where they normally start to lift. There are glues out there but i haven't personally tried them and would be reluctant to. Certainly any glue you use needs to be solvent free and should be tested first on other decals to make sure it doesn't melt into them, destroy the print or even mark the bodyshell. You can also get very thin double sided carpet tape, if you trim very small pieces of this to shape you can apply it to the underside of the decal with care and stick it down! Good luck! |
