The wise one answers:
It's always difficult to predice classics, generally they seem to become collectible when some effort has been made to make them realistic or they become iconic in the world of race etc. Certainly it's of the new wave of performance trucks obviously created to compete in a market against the HPI Savage and Traxxas T-Maxx etc but it probably depends on how durable they are, how many numbers they sell and if they can compete against these well established trucks. If i was a betting man i wouldn't put money on it but then again this is a change in direction for Tamiya in some ways and that could make it a milestone model and a classic. |
