I have a Tamiya Tamtech 1/24th scale Porsche 962C, kit no. 2101. It is complete and ready to go but the CPR unit isn't working at all. Where can I find one or is it possible to get it running again using a newer micro receiver and ESC? Thanks. |

The wise one answers:
As with these things the best place to find a replacement CPR would be Ebay or TamiyaClub (www.tamiyaclub.com). They do come up from time to time but very often a complete working but used car might be just as cheap. That would still leave you with your car of course! It might well be possible to get it working with a mini ESC and receiver but space will be tight and you will have to change over the connectors etc. I would personally keep an eye out for Tamtech spares on Ebay. |
