Question: Hi Prof. I have a couple of sand scorcher runners, but cant get the right suspension setup. I'm not using the standard oil filled/wire spring set, but some aftermatket coilovers, but they seem a bit stiff. What coilover setup would you recommend? I have read somewhere about Tamtech coilovers being used. Any help is much appreciated, sir!!
 

The wise one answers:

Yeah Tamtech ones are great but you need stiffer springs for those. I think Hornet ones fit? I've used just simple TA03 plastic oil shocks before and they were grear for my runner, but not very scale.
