Dear Professor,
if decals/stickers gets peeled themself of the shell, is there a way to re-glue them properly? I've tried superglue (instant adhesive) so far, but it did not work well on a lexan shell.
kind regards |

The wise one answers:
Reports on this subject are varied. It is possible to insert very small pieces of double sided carpet tape under the peeling edges and works well or use a mild adhesive. A silicon and/or rubber based impact adhesive might work. I certainly wouldn't recommend Super Glue or any solvent based adhesive as it will at best etch your body and at worst dissolve the shell and decals! |
