Hi Prof, could you settle a debate I'm having with some friends? What 'turn' are the standard 540 motors that come with Tamiya kits? One friend says 27, the other says 21. Both are 100% sure they are right. I always thought it was 27turn. Cheers. |

The wise one answers:
The standard kit silver cans are 27 turn. Some (but not all) of the sport tuned black motors are 23 turn. Traxxas used to do a 21 turn silver can 540 called the Stinger. It's not a motor i've ever seen in a tamiya kit though |
