Professor Skid has answered...

Question: Hello Professor Skid! I fear I've fallen in love with the shape and looks of the mighty Bear Hawk. Would the re-re Stadium Blitzer chassis be an easy base for the Bear Hawk/Mad Fighter body? Or will a swap of the bodyshell include more difficuilt modifications than just mounting different bodyposts? My intention is not a 100% restoration, but at least I want a nicer look than the Bear Hawk body on a DT-01. Thank you sooo much for your advice regarding my Hornet, I've recently finished the build and I'm pretty proud of the result. My recent project is a Holiday Buggy 2010... so Professor, am I addicted to Tamiya? Is it contagious?? And where does Tamiya get all the ideas for such strange names for their cars (mammals crossbred with birds... you better not think about the result!)? Kind regards

The wise one answers:

Why don't you just buy an original Bear Hawk and restore it? They are cheap'ish and a good tough chassis. Tamiya are very crafty and keep doing what they have done for years. Using there modelling skills and applying it to R/C. The out come is usually something good and everyone wants!! Glad you enjoying it anyway. It's a passion!
