Hey Prof. Is it true that Tamiya are re-releasing the Solar Eagle as model number 58500? Assuming it's true what are your thoughts on this? |

Well i don't think there's any truth in this at all. I wouldn't be surprised to see this model again at some point as it's one that pushes the boundaries and a few years on can take advantage of better technology but it won't be a landmark 500th model in my opinion. They'll bring out a much more popular model and cash in on it i think. Solar power would seem an appropriate topic of discussion though following the nuclear disaster in Japan. |
