Question: Prof, You reccomend a GT 25T motor for the Hotshot and Boomerang! I have a Sport tuned motor which I could use but, which would be quicker as I can't seem to find out how many turns the Sort tuned motor is! Also, would a 2800 Lipo be big enough to be held securely in either the Hotshot or Boomerang bty tray? Thanks.

The wise one answers:

Apparently some sport tuned motors are 23T and others are 27T. I've certainly noticed a difference in them. Remember though despite being a 23T this is still a silvercan motor with primitive brushes and is not ballraced. A GT motor or even rebuildable stock motor will be far superior. Your Lipo should indeed fit in the Hotshot but might need some packing to make it fit tightly.
