The first Countach, With an all alluminium chassis. There's only the front bumper & rear axle that is shared with the later Countach CS. Everythiing else except the body is different. A very simple chassis indeed. I tried to find new parts to build my own a few years ago. What a 'Mission Impossible'! And if you are lucky, Very lucky to find any. You will pay a small fortune for them.
It came with a 380 motor & two ways of gearing it. A direct drive or an extra spur gear could be fitted. The motor could be mounted either side of the chassis at the rear depending on what gearing you used.
The wheels were copied straight from the real Countach & are gorgeous! Put together with that highly detailed body & a nice paint job you get a truly stunning/realistic looking super car!
