Why did Tamiya not supply the correct decals to do the alternative Red / Yellow Sand Scorcher Scheme, The Box shows black circle with white numbers but the decals supplied are the opposite? Would you class every red / yellow scorcher as none box art? |

The wise one answers:
It's a valid point but remember in many kits there are difference between the boxart and the actual finished product. I think this may be due to "artistic" license on the part of the boxart designer or the fact that perhaps the boxart was produced before the kit so in some cases the box art was produced from a prototype. For me "boxart" is when the correct colours and decals are used and no mods are on the car. If it's not 100% the same as the box i can live with that because you've still built it as Tamiya intended. |
