Hi Skid! What lexan paint (PS-no.) should be used for the HotShot body, as Tamiya101's build article mentions the originally intended PS-2 turns out to be quite dark (and it does indeed when I recently saw one new built at the LHS)? Or will backing the red with some coats of white lighten the result up? Will red plastic parts and the body have the same tone of red? Cheers and keep up the good work! |

What you need is Tamiya 'Bright Red' PS34 colour. Backing the normal red with white or something might help a little, but it depends on how many coats of the red you have already put on? |
