Hi there Prof. I want to upgrade my original sand scorcher to coil-over shocks and loose the rear torsion bars and front springs (along with a ball diff) to lessen it's tendency to roll over on cornering. Is there a common convertion that has been proven to work, preferably without having to modify the original parts? Cheers for any advice fella!! |

The wise one answers:
Hmm there are many possible outcomes here, if you don't want to modify parts then you are really limited to shocks of a certain length. I have used short CVA's from modern machines like the Dark Impact (fronts) on the rear before. A slight narrower bore would look better though. |
