Question: |
Just bought a vintage Fox. After driving it an hour or two, the differential started slipping while taking off heading up hills. I took the gear box apart and everything looked fine so I greased it up and threw it back togeather. Went out to try it again, and it is still slipping. Any suggestions??? |

The wise one answers:
The teeth can slip on the diff even though they might only have slight wear. Try and shimmy either side or one side of the diff where it sits in the plastic gearbox housing. A thin washer should do. But do not have it all too tight. |
