Question: |
Hello Prof......nice pants!!
My vintage Bigwig runner has a split front suspension tower, its split at the top where the top of the damper is bolted to the tower, what's the best way to glue this [before it gets worse?
If all else fails will the Supershot alloy suspension towers work as a direct replacement?
Thanks for your help!!!

The wise one answers:
The supershot ones are designed for the dampers t sit at the rear of the arm so wont work without using supershot upper front arms aswell. One of the best repairs I know is epoxy resin with tooth floss wrapped around the damaged joint. Build it up in layers and it makes a strong bond. Glad you like my pantsh! ;-) |
