Question: |
I'm looking at putting a brushless motor in my vintage Toyota hilux. The pinion is pressed on to the old 540 motor.. Is there a gear I can use. A 32 pitch is close but seems a slight bit different..what are other guys doing when the 540 packs it in... |

The wise one answers:
Mostly the best option is to remove the old pinion with heat and then press fit it back onto a new motor. I might be wrong but i think i once saw someone drill the old pinion gear out to take a grub screw. |
