The wise one answers:

Well you seem to be hungry for victory my friend. I wouldn't particularly rave about the Avante as a racer, it depends on your definition of "Vintage". If a Dark Impact is classified as vintage and allowed and all you want to do is win then it would be a good choice or even a DB-01 Durga. I think a standard impact would out perform an Avante and handle a wild motor. Sometimes though you can do better with a slower car if it's too quick for you handle? I might be wrong but i though the idea of vintage racing wasn't all about winning and about enjoying these old models? If there are rules about what is "vintage" then a Top Force would be better than an Avante for pure speed and handling. As i say though it depends to a large extent on your driving, i've seen a Supershot beat modern buggies in the right hands ;-)
