Hi skid im gonna be starting my hotshot build soon.which is the best all round pinion gear to use 13t or 15t?gonna be using the standard motor.is the smaller the gear the higher the top speed?cheers for the advice prof. |

The wise one answers:
No fella, other way round. Smaller the gear lower top end but quicker of the mark. Higher gear faster top end but slower off the mark. I'd go for the 15t. But then again, just buy a slighlty modified Tamiya motor. GT or a Sport Tuned. Don't cost much and will be perfect for the 4WD as it's just a bit underpowered with the standard 540 motor. |
