alwright professor.. need ur help.. im thinkin of buyin brushless motor for my tt-01 golf gti.. do i need anything with brushless motor. someone said it need electric speed control and lipo battery ? |

The wise one answers:
You will certainly need an ESC that is designed for this motor. normally you can get a compatible unit from the same manufacturer. A normal ESC WILL NOT WORK. Brushless motors use clever ESCs and are normally sensored or sensorless. A lipo is not necessarily needed, they're just an alternative battery type that delivers more power for their weight. Normally NiMH or NiCD will work just fine for a brushless setup. Bear in mind that brushless motors are normally cheap but the ESC won't be. |
