Question: Professor, I am getting ready to put some very rare and expensive Original valliant stickers on my 934 porsche. Is there any tips or tricks that you know of that might help me from making a mistake and damaging either my beautiful new paint, or my stickers? One person told me to spray windex on the car first. Another question is. How long should I let my paint dry before applying my stickers? I am in no hurry. Thanks professor.

The wise one answers:

I don't have experience of these decals so i would recommend talking to those who have before you do anything at all. If possible you could experiment with a small offcut of decal if possible using the windex? Perhaps even paint a piece of ABS using your left over paint? In terms of dry time i would leave it a month if you can, i've flattened down paint jobs to a mirror finish and a month later the paint has shrunk to reveal very small imperfections. It takes a long time to breath and property heal. Good luck my friend!
