Somebody pinch me.... I'm dreaming about SRBs???

I have to admit that i've not been really that taken with the idea of the re-released kits. I've had mixed views on the whole subject really and the only one that tempted me so far was the Hotshot and I turned that into a Supershot!

I recently bought the re-re Rough Rider (Ahem, sorry Buggy Champ) and everything has changed! Opening the kit box for the first time was like magic and transported me back in time! I think the crisp white box and mint condition actually made me feel like I had gone back to the late 1970's.

Of course it has spawned a frenzy of activity building a new shelfer box art blue/white RR as well as a smart runner. With the weather getting nicer I just can't wait to get out there with the runners again. I'm hooked on buying cheap SRB parts too! It's still hard to really believe when these boxes arrive courtesy of Ebay with new mechanism boxes, black bumpers and body parts in!
