Saw this and thought of you professor...

I had to laugh when I saw these undies in a supermarket in the USA. It seems like the answer to our very own Professor Skid's dreams?

The real Ford Ranger F150 XLT!

By Stevo309 - Tuesday 9th November 2010

On a recent holiday in the USA I came across this truck on my Uncle's farm. I couldn't believe it as it appears to be the F150 model and vintage that our beloved Tamiya model is based on. In fact, it's even the right colour pretty much! Credit to Tamiya for the body detail! I can't help thinking that the Ranger shell would have been more suited on a 3-speed chassis though.

OH MY GOD!..

This is one I can't believe!! (well I couldn't believe the Scorcher re-release too!)
This is exciting, and going by the Avante logo here it's the same as the original box art so a sign of good things to come?

A complicated classic to re-produce. But so is the Scorcher. I've always said, if they can re-release an SRB they can re-release ANYTHING!

This also confirms my theory even more about the 12 cars on the 'coffee cup cars' leaflet. The only one they haven't done so far is the Astute! I wonder...

Checkout that classic 4WD here..

Roll on next year!..

By moosey - Wednesday 22nd September 2010

Our annual T101 weekend has been and gone again :-(
We had a great weekend though and thanks to the guys for coming. Let down by the weather slightly, but we still managed to make the best of things..

Yes, it's that time of year again where we go out and get some more vintage Tamiya mayhem! Really looking forward to it this year now we are in a different place. We thought the sand dunes can have a year off this time around.
All the usual crew.. Me, Stevo309, Volksrod and Zakspeed.. The 'Fantastic 4' LOL!!!! Let the smelly late nights begin and the shouting at the R/C's that don't work continue!!! ;-)
